Rachael Kelly Ryder is an artist and curator based between Dublin and Glasgow. Her work is centred on networked cultures, oral histories, experimental documentaries and class-related creative praxis. Her practice is socially engaged and multi-disciplinary, spanning lens-based media, participatory initiatives, painting, printing and sculpture.
Since 2021 - 24, Rachael has produced three experimental documentaries screened at Glasgow’s CCA, Barrowland Ballroom, Civic House, Market Gallery, Studio Pavillion, and Transmission Gallery.
In 2022, she was awarded a curatorial residency at Studio Pavilion, where she delivered a moving-image programme of activity including workshops, screening, exhibitions and events centred on artist moving image. She has a BFA from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin (2016) and an MLitt in Curatorial Practice from the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow (2021).
